iHealth Center for Integrated Wellness was conceived around the time Apple Corp began to precede product names with a lower case i; but for us it serves a completely unique purpose. As a professor of Health Promotion, Dr Neill, PhD, advocated changes in personal behaviors leading to improved health and happiness. Raised in Malaysia and culturally Chinese, she was well aware of the Chinese classic I Ching, loosely translated as the Book of Changes. The parallel within the moniker of iHealth is the concept of internal change. Briefly, for us the lower case i represents the individual. Within the therapeutic model, the individual (i) seeks change so as to approach the universal divine (I). Therefore, iChange Therapy is the model Dr Kweethai evolved to facilitate her clients' desired changes. iChange Press is the publishing aspect of that process, disseminating the iChange philosophy and strategies to a wider audience.

Threads Made New is a reflection on a life shaped by migration, memory and the steady work of turning fragments into something whole. Through fifty-seven quilt stories, Dr Kweethai traces a journey from her Malaysian childhood to life and career in America; coping with loss, collecting courage and embracing possibility along the way.
The quilts of her sewing venture, Transforming Designs, become guides — revealing strength in color, honesty in texture and forgotten truths in shadow. Each stitch an act of healing. Each pattern bringing her closer to the woman she had always been.
A story of lineage, healing and homecoming, Threads Made New invites readers into the grounded, quiet work of becoming whole.
How do you talk a client into using your services when she is actively talking herself out of it?
This is not a book about marketing or sales. Rather, it acknowledges certain roadblocks that must be overcome if you are to 1) get resistant clients into your office and pay for services, and 2) predispose them to a successful outcome.
For over 20 years Dr Kweethai used this book as her calling card. It is broad enough to be accessible to the merely curious, but specific enough that readers can see how they might resolve issues that are not specifically mentioned.
"Hypno-what?!" This confusion dampened Dr Kweethai's enthusiasm when initially opening the doors to iHealth Center for Integrated Wellness. Rather than get discouraged, she wrote a book to explain it.
Healers and coaches have great intentions to help others but often struggle financially. Some supplement their expenses from other income, treating their business more like a hobby. Success at any alternative health practice and success at business overlap, but are mostly unique; i.e., success at one does not lead automatically to success at the other.
Dr Kweethai left academia two decades ago to do work that resonated with her soul. A lifelong entrepreneur, she purchased an office property two weeks before completing her hypnotherapy certification.
Dr Kweethai's insights and wisdom span Eastern traditions and Western scientific training. The result is a broad yet focused tapestry of creative solutions that help people act on changes toward healthier and happier lives. Putting Spirit first in the mind, body and spirit paradigm, Dr Kweethai advises, “When you are IN joy, you will ENJOY your life.”
